Shaft-Lock
Our standard shaft easily holds 10 to 12 lbs. However, for applications requiring greater weight carrying capacity, our Shaft-Lock fits the bill. It is easily retrofitted onto all Manhasset music stand shafts, instantly allowing you to have your stand (shaft) support up to 75 lbs. With its fingertip twist mechanism, you can quickly adjust and lock the height at any position. In the unlocked position, the music stand is allowed to function in the normal fashion. |

Table-Lock

MANHASSET® Acoustic Shield We are pleased to introduce Manhassetﾒs New Acoustic Shield.
The 22" high by 26" wide shield is made of clear, durable Lexan polycarbonate. It is designed to effectively provide hearing protection to the musician stationed in front of other musicians, yet not causing impaired vision for the musician behind.
The unitﾒs height adjustment range will afford protection for the musician while sitting and, since, when extended, it has a height of 66 inches, it can also provide hearing protection to the standing musician. In addition to offering hearing protection for musicians playing in front of loud instrumentalists, shields can be easily positioned around percussion sections to reduce the hearing impact on other musicians. Beyond the benefits of acoustic shielding, this device also functions as deflector for french horn players, when placed behind the bell.
The shield contracts and folds down to a height of 37" allowing it to be comfortably tucked away behind your chair when not needed. Also, the shield is equipped with a collapsible tripod base that makes it very portable and easily transported.

Model #1670 Manhasset Wrench
This is a great tool for the music teacher or those who have a combination of older (pre-1995) stands and newer stands. It incorporates both size sockets used to install/tighten the bolt that attaches the base to the shaft (a 9/16-inch one for the older and a 17mm socket for the modern stands. Even if your band room includes all old or includes all new stands, this wrench is still a valuable tool for conveniently taking care of installation and/or maintenance tasks. The handle length is sized to provide the right leverage to easily tighten the bolt.
